Bala Box-Office Collections Day 3: Ayushmann Khurrana Starrer Receives A Ton Of Love, Makes Loud Noise At Ticket Windows
Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Bala is setting some new records at the box office. With Rs 18.07 Crore collections at the box-office on Sunday, the movie marks Maddock Films' highest opening weekend
Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Bala hit the theatres on November 8 and seems to be unstoppable! Directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan, Bala took a fabulous opening of Rs. 10.15 crores at the box office on Friday, with an increased growth on Saturday with Rs. 15.73 crores! Despite the current affairs, and slight unrest the film seems to be unaffected, on Sunday movie garnered Rs. 18.07 crores. Getting the film inching towards 50 crores mark with the total of Rs. 43.95 crores.
We at SpotboyE.com had exclusively predicted of the movie opening on the similar note. Trade analyst Girish Johar had said, “I would peg it around Rs 8-10 crore for start. Then depending on if the film is good and can pull the audience to the theaters, collections can go up to 9-11 Cr. If not then it can come down to Rs 5-6 cr.” Describing the movie in a line, SpotboyE.com, editor Vickey Lalwani wrote, “Raise a toast to Bhumi Pednekar, Yami Gautam, Ayushmann Khurrana and Amar Kaushik. With Bala’s 43.95 Crores, it becomes the highest opening weekend for Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films Productions. “This weekend has not only been special for Bala but also for us at Maddock films, it’s the highest weekend for the company and it’s truly overwhelming. We always strive to do better with each film, and this love and appreciation gives us the confidence to continue taking risks and backing great content,” adds Dinesh Vijan.
The positive word of mouth and spectacular reviews have done wonders for the film. The tickets are selling like hot cakes in the theatres. After Stree and Luka Chuppi; Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan has another winner in hand. Bala has proved yet again that content is the real king!
